Cy Winstanley is a New Zealand born, Nashville based songwriter, guitarist and vocalist. Cy releases music under his own name; as folk duo Tattletale Saints; children’s music under pseudonym Simon Stanley; and works extensively as a sideman and session guitarist for various local and international artists including Brandy Clark, Peter Bradley Adams, Rachel Baiman, Brit Taylor and many more. 

In 2024 Cy released ‘Trick EP’, his first solo outing. With an underlying humor and joy, the collection showcases Cy’s breadth as a songwriter, giving an exciting introduction to a new sonic chapter in the work of this eclectic musician. 

His band Tattletale Saints with fellow Kiwi Vanessa McGowan has released 4 albums, most recently 2023's 'In the Summertime' - a collection of covers celebrating many years of songs from the road . The albums ‘Dancing Under the Dogwoods’ & ‘How Red is The Blood’ won the New Zealand music award for Folk Album of The Year 2021 & 2014.

Cy tours regularly and works as a session and live guitarist in and around Nashville, TN. He enjoys running, yoga, reading and cooking dahl.
